65% of the participants say that CSO's should have a role in judicial reforms

The European Policy Institute - Skopje, together with the Helsinki Committee for Human Rights in Macedonia, presented today the findings of the public opinion survey regarding the judiciary, fight against corruption and fundamental rights.

The findings of the survey show that 50% of the participants think that the judiciary in Macedonia does not meet the standards for integration in the European Union. Regarding the work of the judiciary, 47% consider it as bad.

31% of the citizens say that the bribery and corruption in the judiciary are the biggest obstacle in the implementation of reforms.

According to the survey, 65% of the participants say that the CSO's need to take part in the reforms in the judiciary. 

The public opinion survey is done by GFK+ as a part of the project Network 23+, financed by the European Union.
